The Other Side of Oud is inspired by Prince Hussein’s mission of an independent Arab state, for which he had to ask recognition directly from King George V, and the typical cardamon coffee from the Middle East. Perfumers imagined this oud as a wood infusion full of vibrant, wrapping notes. Opens with a spicy cocktail of warm cinnamon, fresh cardamon and zesty ginger. The heart reveals a blooming oud blended with a bouquet of geranium and coffee flower. The silage is vibrant as roasted coffee and mellows gently into the vanilla absolute. Oud-pungent smelling resin Known also as an Agarwood, has been present and used in Arabic countries for centuries often providing the base for bakhoor which is a mix of fragrance oil with myrrh and frankincense.
