With Mandala we would like to “sing two notes at the same time”. It is amazing having a change to listen to
monks performing “overtone singing” - we attempted at recreating a fragrance conveying the same meditative, trance-like feeling. Myrrh and incense are the two most prominent notes of this composition.

We have been introduced to Christian Carbonnel, several years ago, by Rania J. We remember
discussing with Rania, at one exhibition in Germany, about the quality of some raw materials in her
fragrances, and she told us how she was sourcing several top raw materials through Carbonnel. So
we met Christian Carbonnel and got to know more about his company. With time, our friendship with
Christian grew, and about one year ago we decided it was high time we started a collaboration with
him. On top of his experience with oriental fragrances, we also must say that Christian surprised us
with some incredible materials.
